Early Language Groups
Small groups. Big moments. Real connections forming one word at a time.
Practice. Connect. Grow.
You are not alone -
and neither is your child.“I want my child to make friends - to connect with other kids their age.”
“Individual therapy is going so well — I want my child to start using those skills with others too.”
“I want to meet other parents who actually get it — who are walking the same road we are.”
What to Expect
In the Session
Each group is intentionally small — just 2 to 4 children — so every child gets real attention, not just a seat in a room. Sessions are structured around play, shared activities, and natural back-and-forth interaction. Children practice communication in the moment, with peers who are working toward the same goals. Parents are present and coached throughout, just like in individual therapy.
How Placement Works
Every child who joins a group has first completed an evaluation with us. That's not a barrier — it's how we make sure every group is a genuinely good fit for every child in it. Group placement is determined collaboratively during the evaluation process, and sessions run on a weekly recurring schedule so children build consistency, confidence, and connection over time.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Not necessarily — but every child does need to complete an evaluation with us before joining a group. This lets us make sure the group is the right fit and place your child alongside peers at a similar stage of their communication journey.
-
Absolutely — and many of our families do. Individual therapy builds the foundation; group gives children the chance to practice those skills in a real social setting. The two work beautifully together.
-
We do - just remember, insurance coverage for group therapy varies by plan. We'll review your coverage with you before your child's first session so there are no surprises.
-
Group spots are limited by design — small groups mean better outcomes. That being said, we are always creating new groups to meet the needs of our clients. Reach out to us directly and we'll let you know what's currently available and what your child's evaluation timeline would look like.
