What is Nestlings?Your baby is already communicating.
Long before words, babies are talking — through their gaze, their sounds, their reach, their stillness. Nestlings is designed to help caregivers see what's already there and respond in ways that build language from the start.
Each session, a licensed SLP leads a warm, focused 30-minute class built around an early language theme. You'll play, sing, read, and leave with one concrete strategy to bring into your day — without any pressure, paperwork, or prerequisites.
Caregiver & Child, Together
This time is for you and your child - learning and growing together. The strategies you learn here are the ones you carry home.

Your Communication Guide -Samantha Jaekel, M.S., CCC-SLP
Built for this age.
Samantha Jaekel is a licensed speech-language pathologist with a master's degree from UT Austin and a specialty in early communication and parent-mediated intervention. She founded Beetle & Hare Pediatric Speech Therapy in Georgetown, TX.
Nestlings exists because early language support shouldn't require a diagnosis to access. The strategies that help babies thrive are the same ones any caregiver can learn — and Samantha loves teaching them.
Nestlings is a communication enrichment class, not a speech-language therapy service. No referral, evaluation, or diagnosis is required to attend. Participation does not establish a clinical relationship with Beetle & Hare Pediatric Speech Therapy.
If you have questions about your baby's development or are wondering whether a formal evaluation might be helpful, Samantha is happy to chat before or after class — or you can reach out directly.
